Kansas City, Mo. – If you act fast, you might be able to get a great deal at one of the most anticipated fall events.
The Kansas City Zoo is hosting the GloWild lantern festival through December 11.
The event is a partnership between the Kansas City Zoo and Zigong beacon groupFlorida-based company, which has hosted lantern festivals in large cities in the US and Europe.
The festival is the first to visit the Midwest. It features handmade sculptures of animals, local landmarks, flowers and symbols. Each structure will glow with the light of the lanterns.
There are no refunds, and the event will take place rain or shine.
The zoo offers a $15 flash sale. You must buy a ticket on Monday, September 26, to get the discount. Discount tickets are only available for Wednesday, September 28 or Thursday, September 29.
