Commerce Bank customers report deposits, payment problems

Kansas City, Mo. – Bank of Commerce customers are encouraged to log in and check their accounts.

Dozens of bank customers reported problems with deposits and payments Friday morning.

Many customers said they contacted the bank after discovering their salary was not deposited into their account. They report some payment transactions have also not been processed.

In a statement to customers, Commerce Bank said it was aware of the problem, and said it was a problem with the company’s nightly processing.

“I’m sorry for the trouble; we are working to fix the problem as soon as possible. We thank you for all the trouble; we know this creates challenges for our customers,” Commercial Bank posted on Facebook.

As of 11 am Friday, Commerce Bank said it does not know when the problem will be resolved.

The bank is asking customers affected by the issue to call customer care at 877-278-1744 for help in resolving the issue.
