INDIANAPOLIS (WXIN) – Kraft Heinz is recalling more than 5,000 cases of Capri Sun because it could be contaminated with cleaning solutions.
The company announced Friday that it is recalling 5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend after a diluted cleaning solution was accidentally introduced into a production line at one of its factories. The solution is used in food processing equipment.
The company discovered the problem after some people complained about the taste of the product.
The company is working with retail partners and distributors to remove potentially affected products from circulation. Anyone who has the recalled product should not consume it. They can return it to where they bought it for a refund.
